Sterling Silver Dichroic Glass Ring

This handmade 925 Sterling Silver Ring is a unique one-off piece.

Dichroic glass, commonly called dichro for short, literally means "two coloured." It is derived from the Greek words "di" for two, and "chroma" for colour. It was thus named because of its fantastic multicoloured and reflective properties. When you look at this glass, it appears to have more than one colour at the same time, especially when viewed with different lighting.

The energy of the moon in the dichroic glass is believed to instil calmness and composure in the wearer. It is also said that it may be helpful for seeing past misapprehensions, communication with cosmological beings, bringing childlike ecstasy into the wearer’s spirit, and in meditation.
